Princess Majesty and Princess Royal - Hello Cousin by =ronaldhennessy
Scheming, cunning, deceitful. That’s what’s used to describe fellow Princess, Rival AND Cousin Majesty. (Above). Princess Royal (In brown hair) better bring her A game.
Margaret - Cleaning her Glasses by =ronaldhennessy
See clearly now.
Once again trying a different way of presenting my work. This is how I draw on paper. I scanned it in and cleaned it up.
Double Scoop - Maddie Ponified by =ronaldhennessy
I said I wouldn’t do a ponification again…I lied. You might consider this a “OC Pony”. I don’t because the using this design is not original, it is based on an existing property which doesn’t make it original. However, it is a BASED on an original character. Next time, when you create an “OC”, if you base it from an existing show, video game or something similar its not original. And that’s why the people who run the ocart group have migraines from continuing to reject Kingdom Hearts “OCs” every day.
Enough soapboxing, this pony is based on my creation, Maddie. I’d figure she would be the easiest since she is a filly and has no cutie mark. A combination of sickness and issues with the pen tool made this a lot harder to do. The end result turned out ok since I was aiming for the FIM look, but I probably could have done this faster without vectoring it up. I guess Photoshop is ill suited for a task like this.
I chose the name “Double Scoop” since the human version likes ice cream. The colors represent two things, Sherbet Ice cream (my favorite Ice Cream) and Maddie’s human color palette. She doesn’t have her cutie mark as she is still finding out what she truly is made for, but that may come one day.
More of these ponifications are on the way once I learn to get the hang of the pen tool a bit more.
And some recent MLP sketches as well. Starting to do characters OTHER than Twist and Pinkie Pie. I really want to do all of the mane 6, I have yet to attempt to draw Rarity and Applejack yet.
Some recent random sketches of Maddie. I have big plans for the little one, so that’s why I’m drawing her a lot.
Maddie Roping Around 2011-12 Comparison by =ronaldhennessy
I originally drew this early last year when Maddie was…shall we say…in her “early stages”.
Drawn on January 15, 2011
Compared to the early one, I look at the former with disgust. “I freakin’ drew THAT montronsity?”
Not the one that likes to brag and wants to be humble about the matter…well I guess I improved. Keep in mind, I’ve been doing this on the regular since September 2010. I have no formal art training at all. I am entirely self taught. If you push yourself and work on doing this on a regular basis, your work will speak for itself.
Rodger, Lilly and Maddie - Easter Enjoyment by =ronaldhennessy
The Easter holiday means different things to different kids. For some, it’s all about the pretty eggs and presents that come in baskets. For some, it’s for petting adorable soft and furry rabbits. And for for some, WHERE DA CANDY AT!?!
Have a happy Zombie Jesus/Easter Sunday!

Fanart Feature - Bessie Higgenbottom by =ronaldhennessy
Moving on with #4 in my series of fanart featuring some of my favorite character in animation. From the recent Nicktoon “The Mighty B!” comes Honeybee ScoutBessie Higgenbottom!
Bessie’s hails from San Francisco, CA. She lives with her single mother and younger brother Ben. She also has a dog named Happy and…well a finger named “finger”. Bessie’s ultimate goal is to get every honeybee badge in existence. According to Bessie, she believes she will become “The Mighty B!” super heroine. This series ran for 40 episodes from 2008 to 2011.
Quick Facts
- -Voiced by
Saturday Night Live

- -Not only Poehler was a voice, she was also co-creator and executive producer along with Cynthia True and Erik Wiese
- -Bessie’s character is roughly based on a girl scout character that Poehler performed during her days with the improv ground “The Upright Citizen’s Brigade”.
