I originally drew this early last year when Maddie was…shall we say…in her “early stages”.

Compared to the early one, I look at the former with disgust. “I freakin’ drew THAT montronsity?”
Not the one that likes to brag and wants to be humble about the matter…well I guess I improved. Keep in mind, I’ve been doing this on the regular since September 2010. I have no formal art training at all. I am entirely self taught. If you push yourself and work on doing this on a regular basis, your work will speak for itself.

From time to time, I create new characters. Some gel with me, like Princess, Maddie and Margaret, some are neglected like Johnny and RJ and some may never see the light of day. These characters that I create have a purpose, not just to sit around and ham it up for the Internet. Eventually, these characters will exist in some sort of universe and have friendships, quirks and conflict. Hopefully, one day, that comes to reality in the form of a narrative, webcomic or something else. In the meantime, enjoy my new creation.
Here we have Lilly. The most shy and reserved of all of my characters. Pretty much the complete opposite of the loud, brash and energetic Maddie. She is also a neat freak who frequently uses hand sanitizers and really, really loves bunnies.

As you can see above, Roger’s favorite thing is trains. He also can be brutally honest about things in a precocious manner, even if it makes others around him unconforable. Roger is around the same age his peers Maddie and Lilly.

Margaret Version 1.7. by =ronaldhennessy
Things evolve and so do my characters. In this release of Margaret 1.7. A few tweaks were made:
Rounder Face.
Blouse is a bit shorter.
Shorter skirt. (Original went down to her kneecaps to contrast her with best friend Princess.)
Longer stockings, now full length.
Glasses now purple instead of gray. More color coordination.
Eyebrows now match color of hair.
Added two additional hair curls near ear.

This feels a lot better. Having a photo of my iOS stuff with my artwork as wallpaper did not express my individuality as much, so I went with a drawing representing my main original character princess.
Along with my sketchbook, Mac mini and Intous4 stylus, I aim to create DIGIAL MAGIC.

Kevin Bolk Margaret Commission

The 3rd in my series of my “Big 3 OC” commissions. This time, I asked Kevin to do artwork of my largest character (by size and heart) Margaret. Best friend of Princess and older sister of Maddie.
The requirements this time was to have Margaret doing one of her favorite activities…in a obsessive way. There is a reason why she is wearing those glasses, too many reading may cause strain to eyes. I wonder if she may need a strong prescription one of these days.

Nothing really detailed or crazy this time. This is just a little modelsheet I cooked up. This is more of a use for people who need references for my character (a.k.a. commissions) You will see more of these featuring my other OCs soon.
