Maddie - The Human Christmas Tree by =ronaldhennessy
Continuing on my Christmas themed drawings, here is a different one…this one is actually a homage to a famous children’s book. I got some inspiration for this character through this book. Can you guess what it is?
One great thing about 5-year old human Christmas trees is that they never need watering. However, her arms can get tired and putting on ornaments, lighting and tinsel can make her quite finicky.
Margaret - Never too old to believe in Santa by =ronaldhennessy
According to quick research I did on the Internet, the average age a child stops believing in Santa Claus is around the age of 8.
Margaret is 12 years old.
Not only she believes in Santa, she also believes in the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, Aliens and various conspiracy theories out there. She has a logical reason why Santa exists.
A weird girl, but a smart one nevertheless.
Introducing Christmas (w sketches) by =ronaldhennessy
New character time! This one is a little bit special. When I create characters like these, I envision a world that they exist as well. This girl’s name is just called Christmas. Christmas Deigh. (Get it). In her mind, Christmas is EVERYDAY. Is is OBSESSED with the holiday. Once Dec 26 rolls around, it’s 364 days to the next Christmas. Her music player has nothing but Christmas songs, she watches only Christmas specials on DVD throughout the year. Easter? Christmas-colored baskets and eggs. Fourth of July? She salutes the Red and Green. Halloween, she’s dressed as Rudolph. Thanksgiving? Just another day closer the Christmas.
But she does have a purpose in life. Who has to check that list on who’s Naughty or Nice TWICE? She does.
